The sponsorship industry hosts many awards, yearbooks and newsletters but lacked a regular vehicle to tackle issues, trends and news in a magazine format. Platform, published by Think!Sponsorship, filled that void. It told the inside story of how sponsorship works, across a range of media, how to measure it effectively, and why it sometimes falls down on the job. The features covered high profile events such as the Olympics and the World Cup, but also smaller community-oriented ventures. It contained interviews with blue chip companies such as Investec and Barclays and with less well-known sponsors like local authorities, all packaged in a beautifully designed monthly magazine.
